The shrub Aspalathus Linearis grows up to two meters tall and grows exclusively in South Africa in the Cederberg Mountains, 200 km north of Cape Town.
For all our Rooibos varieties, only the young, tender, red branches are harvested by hand with a sickle. After a process of crushing, squeezing and fermenting, the Rooibos is laid out to dry in the intense South African sun.
Rooibos is a fantastic alternative to coffee and tea. It is healthy, helps to "recharge the batteries" and is great for children, pregnant and breastfeeding women and anyone who wants a tasty and healthy infusion.
