Gabalong is particularly known for its health benefits. Last but not least, the so-called GABA amino acid is naturally contained in the tea leaves.
In the 1980s, Japanese tea researcher Tojiro Tsushida discovered that the GABA content could be increased many times over using a special processing technique for tea leaves! The magical amino acid acts as a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and has a calming effect, relieves anxiety and promotes relaxation. Although Mr. Tsushida originally wanted to make tea last longer with his research, he managed to develop a technique that made our beloved green tea even healthier.
The dark, needle-shaped leaves with some light tips captivate with their noble, fresh and sparkling aroma when brewed.
