Chai is a sweet delicacy that is served on every occasion in India.

The best way to prepare the oriental spice mixture is directly in a pot. Bring the spices to the boil without a sieve, put the lid on and let it steep for 20 minutes. Then season with plenty of milk and a little sugar or honey and pour through a sieve directly into the cup.
